Another option to avoid the Bluetooth device entering Hands-Free mode is to disable the Hands-free audio device in Sound settings.
Go to Settings > System > Sound > More Sound Settings > Playback tab > Right-click the Hands-free audio device > Disable. Do the same on the Recording tab.
Connect the Bluetooth headset after the computer reboots and the hands-free phone service, which has been turned off, will be turned back on.
This will open automatically after reboot.

Just want to add that in most cases, it stays disabled after reboot unless
- You remove and re-pair the earbuds
- Windows updates your Bluetooth drivers and re-enables them
- Or if you reset your FreeBuds
You can also manually force to use of Stereo Audio by following these steps:
-
Click the volume icon in the taskbar- Click the arrow (>) to expand audio outputs
- Choose the one that ends in Stereo, not Hands-Free
- You’ll usually see Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Stereo and Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Hands-Free AG Audio.
You can choose the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Stereo and avoid the other one.
