Hi there, Babou! This is Marc, and thanks for reaching out.
Thanks for providing those details. Based on what you've described, here are a few approaches we can try.
- Make sure the recovery USB is properly set up:
- Use a working Windows PC to create the recovery drive again
- Download the official Surface Go 2 recovery image from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/surface-recovery-image
- Follow the instructions to set up a recovery USB with that image
- Then:
- Power off the Surface
- Hold Volume Down, press Power, then release both when the Surface logo appears
- If successful, it should boot from the USB
- Use UEFI to Confirm Boot Order
- Press Power + Volume Up to enter UEFI (firmware settings)
- Under Boot Configuration, make sure USB Storage is first in the boot order
- Save changes and exit
- Once booted into the recovery drive, you can:
- Choose “Troubleshoot > Reset this PC” to reinstall Windows
- Or use Command Prompt or other advanced options to fix boot problems.
Let me know how it goes after trying these steps.
Best regards,
