Been dealing with this incredibly annoying bug since morning. My subscription is pay-as-you-go. Trying to purchase a domain through rest api, but I'm constantly getting this error. When I tried to also do this via the azure portal, I received an invalid template error and the error log said the same issue.
Incredibly urgent. please help.

Even though you're on a Pay-As-You-Go subscription, App Service Domain purchases require that certain spending thresholds and validations be met, or that the account is not under any kind of restriction (such as being newly created or having limited billing permissions). Additionally, this service relies on Azure Marketplace and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) capabilities, which must be enabled and active.
Here’s what you can do to resolve this issue:
- Not all subscriptions are immediately eligible. Microsoft requires the subscription to have a good billing history and no restrictions on Azure Marketplace purchases.
- Make sure your subscription has Azure Marketplace enabled.
- Ensure there are no spending caps (some older MSDN or trial accounts have this).
- Double-check that your Azure account is not in "restricted" or "suspended" state. Buy App Service Domain in Azure
- Make sure the

- Ensure you have Owner or Contributor role on the subscription.
