Hello all,

Recently my Dell XPS 15 9570, running Windows 10, has started to give me errors in the system event logs which make my computer either freeze or lose the wifi connection or sometimes both. The errors are: Qcamain 10X64 ID 0 and Qcamain 10X64 ID 5006. When I check the system event log I have one 0 event and two 5006 events listed all simultaneously. There has been no BSOD, but I only even find info about the Qcamain BSOD when I try to google my problems.

The 0 event description is: "The description for Event ID 0 from source Qcamain10x64 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\NDMP3

Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"

And the 5006 event description is: "Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter : The version number is incorrect for this driver."

However, I have gone into my drivers list and the LAN driver tells me it's up to date when I try to update it. I have uninstalled the LAN driver and restarted my computer to reinstall it automatically and I'm still getting this issue. I have no idea what any of this means! Can anyone help me? I'm happy to provide more information as needed. Thanks so much!

The best option is to go to the support page for your Dell XPS 15 9570 on the Dell website, then from there, download and re-install (not update) the version of the Killer WiFi (WLAN) drivers they provide, Dell customise their drivers and those will be the most compatible version of the drivers.
