Why do the passwords in Authenticator not export to CSV?

I have tried multiple times to back up my passwords in the Microsoft Authenticator app so I can import them on Google password manager. However, the CSV file is empty every single time. I have hundreds of passwords and I'm about to lose them all because this is not working. I also do not have an option to backup the generator data, only option is delete. Ultimately I just don't want to lose all of these passwords.

Hello, I’m Virginia, a fellow user like yourself.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

If you open Edge are the same passwords listed there? I believe the Authenticator app syncs with Edge’s password manager, hence why it’s being removed from the app. If they are then I would try exporting from Edge.

Is the file itself blank or blank only when you import the file?

To backup the 2fa codes then you’d need to set the app to backup to the cloud, this is under the app’s settings.
