Unable to Open Contact Record from Email Address in Classic Outlook

In Classic Outlook, double-clicking on an email address used to open the corresponding contact record directly. Recently, this functionality has stopped working, and there is often no option to edit the contact from the link. As a result, it is necessary to manually open the contacts and search for the person.

This feature was very helpful and time-saving, so it's frustrating that it is no longer functioning correctly. What steps can be taken to restore this feature?

Can you still right-click on an email address and do a contact lookup or show the contact card?
