Outlook application login issues.

Hi, Im having an issue logging into my outlook account on the Outlook app on my desktop.

If I log in on the web browser it sends a verification code to my allocated other email address, but, when i try log in on the App, it says its sending a log in code to the same email address that im trying to log into (which is not the same as what happens when i log in on the web browser) and it never actually sends the code. Super frustrating as its one of my business emails.

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

    Hello,

    Please launch the web browser, and go to https://account.live.com to sign in, then go to Security, turn off the two-step verification.

    Then launch the web browser again, but this time, in InPrivate/Incognito mode.

    Then go back Security. Turn the two-step verification back on. Make sure all contact info is correct and up to date. Ideally, you might want to add the authentication app.

    Then try to log into the app again.
