no mate still have this issue
Tablet battery won't charge if charger plugged in the keyboard port (indicator light turns on, but percentage won't increase)
Hi, I have the surface book 2 15", it's 2.5 years old, it's heavily used, the keyboard battery won't charge, stays at 0%. (the Tablet battery is fine)
I understand the keyboard Battery may have died of age, if that's the case, I'll replace it.
but my problem is the Tablet battery won't charge if I plug the charger in the keyboard port, though the indicator light comes on, the percentage won't increase.
it'll charge only if I eject the Tablet and plug it in directly,
My question is, Is it because of the faulty keyboard Battery or charger or something wrong with the keyboard base?
kind regards.

2021-10-18T18:19:33+00:00 Hi, Thanks for the reply. Here is a battery report file I ran in august when the problem started,
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjJD-t5Sc7wAjjqnxC1CoHIfer6d?e=W4Fn1U
FULL CHARGE CAPACITY is significantly lower, but should that prevent power from going to the Tablet?
I just want to know if replacing the battery will fix it or not.

Press Windows key + X, then (depends on your version of Windows) click Windows PowerShell(Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin), and then type
powercfg /batteryreport
then press the Enter key. The battery report will be saved under C:\Windows\System32 as battery-report.html
Upload this report to your OneDrive and share a link, then reply to this message and paste in the link. Please upload the HTML file and do not convert to another format.
