How do I generate square images in Image Creator with an active Copilot Pro license?

I just purchased a Copilot Pro license and now all images generated by Image Creator are in landscape mode.

Specifying an aspect ratio in the prompt does nothing and I cannot find the settings to toggle the aspect ratio anywhere.

How do I switch back to generating square images?

    Hi Rokker84,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Image Creator outputs images in square mode by default and there is no option to adjust the aspect ratio at this stage.

Is the situation the same in another brand new or someone else's (not including a Copilot Pro subscription) Microsoft account?

How to create a new Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

If Image Creator's graphics output mode is affected by Microsoft accounts as well as Copilot Pro subscriptions, this may be a situation worth submitting to the product team for further investigation.

You may submit feedback in the Microsoft Edge browser as well. Open the page in the Microsoft Edge browser, then use the shortcut keys "Alt" + "Shift" + "I" to open the feedback window or select the 3 dots in the top right, select Help and feedback, then choose Send feedback (Note that the feedback window will capture the current screen and URL link and email address, and you can add Attachment and record your problem), enter your problem, and click "Send".

If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.

    Best Regards,

Image Creator outputs images in square mode by default and there is no option to adjust the aspect ratio at this stage.

This USED to be true but for me this is no longer the case and it is getting infuriating.

I have been using Image Creator for some time and I have of course only been able to generate square images since that has been the only available aspect ratio.

    A few days ago Micorsoft released a new subscription based product named Copilot Pro. This subscription includes many nice features but there are two features that apply to Image Creator, being;

    * Subscribers get 100 Image Creator Credits every day.

    * Subscribers unlock the option to generate images in landscape mode.

I don't really care for the landscape mode, but as long as it is optional it's just a bonus to have available in the toolbox.

As it turns out the landscape mode was not optional at all and completely replaced the square image mode.

Is the situation the same in another brand new or someone else's (not including a Copilot Pro subscription) Microsoft account?

No, a brand new account still generates square images. The issue is with my account that has the active Copilot Pro subscription.

If Image Creator's graphics output mode is affected by Microsoft accounts as well as Copilot Pro subscriptions, this may be a situation worth submitting to the product team for further investigation.

Thank you, I am going to report this issue there as well.

I have also attached a few screenshots of the creations made just before and after I subscribed to Copilot Pro.

As seen in he first image, creations started getting these icons on them indicating that they are generated in landscape mode.

The second image shows the images I generated right before subscribing.

And the third image shows what they look like with the active subscription.

    Nope, no news yet.

Haven't gotten any MS feedback anywhere else except from here.

I encourage all who are affected by this issue to report it here: Microsoft-Report a Concern to Bing

There are no perfect categories to report this exact thing but no matter what category we chose, the more that report it at all the better!
