In the Bing Homepage, you can clear or turn off your search history.

How to clear your Search History:

1. Go to the Bing homepage and click on Search History at the top of the page or go to the following

link: https://ssl.bing.com/profile/history

2. On the right side of the page you will see the Clear all button, this will delete your entire search

history

3. On the next screen you will be asked to verify if you want to continue or not

4. If you select ‘Yes, clear all search history’, then your search history will be cleared

How to turn off the Search History feature:

1. Go to the Bing homepage and click on Search History at the top of the page or go to the following

link: https://ssl.bing.com/profile/history

2. On the right side of the page you will see the Turn off button, this will turn off the search history

feature in the Bing Homepage

The Bing Homepage Search History should now be turned off. This setting will remain unless your cookies are cleared. Should you need to clear your cookies, then you will need to repeat these steps again.

Note :

This will not change the Search History settings within the Windows 8 Bing Application. Search history WILL persist across any/all instances of your Windows 8 Bing application and also to the web experience (Bing.com), but search history SETTINGS will not persist between the application and the web experience
