Age restrictions on redeeming Microsoft Rewards points

Hello,

My son is currently having issues redeeming his rewards points for Roblox. We also tested out some other redemptions, like Target eGift cards with no luck. Are there age restrictions to redeeming gift cards. If so, can you please point to where it states that in the Term of Service because I was unable to find anything. If in fact they are unable to redeem for gift cards, what options do they actually have for using their points? Doesn't seem like there's anything other than donating them.

We understand the frustration of not being able to redeem the points in your child's account.

This may decrease your child's motivation to use Microsoft Rewards.

However, please allow us to explain that members of the Answers community are unable to intervene in processes that involve private information, such as account-related processes.

The Microsoft Service Agreement indicates that redemption items for Microsoft Rewards may be affected by age, but did not clearly indicate the specific type.

In another thread with similar questions, an Independent Advisor indicated that cash and gift card content will be restricted.

If you need further assistance or want to know whether there are other similar cases, you may want to consult with the more appropriate team.
