I have 2 desktops running at home. One is a 'normal' one with Windows 11 Pro running 23H2
The other one is a testmachine on wich i am participating in the insiders program Preview Release and has 24H2 on it.
With the Preview release i am expering the following problem: Network Drives are not availble. They are shown but not connecting. ?!
Have bin looking around with Google and looks like it has to do with the SMB protocol?! Some solutions i found do not work. Because i am afraid that if 24H2 rolls out as an update for 23H2 i will have that issue on my regular desktop as well. And that kis going to be a problem.
I love to get tips howto solve this issue. Advice is appreciated.
The config of my networkdrives are as follow:
On the router a usb-hub is connected on the USB port. There multiple drives attached to the hub. I am able to reach those drives on my [ 23H2 machine but not on the 24H2!] on hardware like Apple-TV, Chrome 4K android tv etc, etc. Stream from those drives, copy/paste and all that you are able to do on attached drives.
So is it a bug with 24H2 and how to solve it
Thanks
