hi,

I am in the Dev channel but I got the Microsoft Defender Antivirus antimalware platform. It states Beta channel but I am in the Dev channel. Is that correct?

I think that the security platform updates don't necessarily use the same insider channels used by insider windows channel.

Also, currently the Windows 11 24H2 Beta and Dev are using the exact same Builds numbers 26120.3360, so the same security updates may go to either one.

I would not worry about the prerelease description of the Security Platform.

You can report that in an FBH report and see what the MS guys will reply.

Anyway, it is always hard to get a quick reply from the Security group. 😂😂🤷‍♂️
