Windows 10 causing games to randomly minimize.

For some reason this issue persists no matter what game I play. Its only when games are in fullscreen, but when it happens Windows acts like it executing something in the background. It makes no sense why this is happening what so ever, is there something in the background that is taking priority over "non-windows games". If so that needs to be corrected because there should be some consistent background task that doesn't even do anything interrupt my gametime. Please fix soon, its been going on since Windows 10 first released.

Which is the current build of Windows 10 Technical Preview installed on your system?

This issue might be due to graphic card drivers being outdated. Let's try the below steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: I would suggest you to update your graphic card drivers and check if it helps.

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

    1. Right click on **Start button**and click on **Device manager**.

    3. Right click on the device and select **Update driver**.

Step 2: If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Graphic drivers.

    1. Press Windows key + R key.

    2. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

    3. In device manager go to display adapter.

    4. Right click and uninstall.

After you uninstall the drives, I suggest you to reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturing website and check.

I'm sure my drivers are up to date, and I've tried the second method before, but it won't hurt to try and reinstall drivers again.

    Hi,

I'm on the Game Compatibility team for Microsoft. I have not seen this issue, so I'm guessing something on your system is stealing focus. Can you provide some details?

What build of windows 10 are you on?

Can you name a couple of games?

What is your graphics card and driver version?

Any other software running you can think of while you are playing games?

    Thanks.

So far its seems to effect every game I've been playing including Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fallout 4, and Call of Duty Black Ops 3. I have an Nvidia GTX 950, and I am on the latest driver version 361.75. Windows build number is 10586.

I've played most of the games on Nvidia without this issue. When does it minimize? Are you clicking in the game when it minimizes? At what point are you at when it does that? Is anything opening up on the desktop after it minimizes, like the start menu or anything else?
