The recommended section and favorite section aren't exhibited on the File Explorer's Home page

Since the windows update a few months ago, I noticed that a brand-new recommended section appears on my file explorer's home page, which really facilitates my work efficiency. But recently I found the section disappears and even along with the favorite section on my desktop PC (Fig. 2), even though I have opened all the functions in the folder options settings (Fig. 1). I suppose it is because Microsoft temporarily discarded such features because I'm enrolled in the Dev channel.

However, the case becomes different when I use my Surface Pro 8, everything is ok and all three sections appear (Fig. 3). It is actually in the same version as the PC is, (Dev Build 23545.ni_prerelease.230908-1421). So, I am sure there is something wrong with my desktop PC.

Note that sometimes by coincidence all the three sections would appear on my desktop, but the recommended section never updates any new content so it is unusable at all.

    Hello Jin Zhengyang

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

In response to your feedback here, I have tested it in our test equipment.

In Folder Options, I selected "Home Folder". Then I restarted Explorer, and I got the same picture as your screenshot 3, where I can see Recommended, Favorites, and Recent.

Therefore, I recommend that you try to click on Folder Options, "Restore default value" under the "General" page, then click on "Far Default Value" under the "View" page, and then click OK.

Finally, restart your computer and make sure that you can see these three options in the Explorer. If not, make sure that the options are still selected.

If it is not selected, please check it and try it, but if it is selected, then it may indeed be a bug in the system version.

We will submit this issue for you through internal channels. In addition, you can also submit it through the****Feedback Hub (if convenient, please provide as much detail as possible, including pictures, videos, etc.).

Please share the feedback link after submitting, I will submit your feedback to the relevant team for investigation through internal channels.

    Best regards,

    Hi Mitchell,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have submitted a feedback thread and this is the link: https://aka.ms/AAmpq1x

BTW, could you tell me what is the "Far Default Value" under the "View" page you mentioned? I cannot find such tag under the View page.
