Just used DISM on my Hyper-V install which worked.
Did you try sfc /scannow first

using DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth uses Windows Update to get the files so I take it that install is connected to the internet.
As far as not finding the source files did you try a dir just to make sure that the source is working.

Yes, I always run SFC prior to DISM
It found and fixed errors the first time, however, after a restart I ran it again and found some more that could not be repaired so I performed an in-place repair and everything is good now, thanks.
using DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth uses Windows Update to get the files so I take it that install is connected to the internet.
I could be wrong but I don't think that it's necessary to be online to run DISM.

Yes, I ran it twice, first from D:\Temp\sources\install.wim and later from E:\ (see screenshot avobe)

Mine is also a clean install and no error.
