Hi RGBell,
I'm not having any of your issues here, did you clean install 27842 or just re-install?
Did you file this at the FeedBack Hub?
Post a link back to your post here incase others are having the same issue, thanks.

After installing Build 27842, I cannot access Microsoft sites and Facebook. I can't log in to OneDrive, Windows update can't find the server, I can't access this community site or Microsoft.com. I can log in to Youtube but it won't play some videos. Facebook and Microsoft sites say "connection reset". I can still access these sites from my phone and laptop. I have no problems access other sites. The Network troubleshooter doesn't find any problems. No issues in Device Manager.
I restored the previous build and everything works. I tried reinstalling Build 27842 and had the same problem. Right after it booted up the second time, I was able to access Facebook. A few minutes later, it stopped working again. I have restored the previous build and will wait until the next version is released.
I am running a Dell G5 5090. All drivers and software is up to date. The problems also occur when using the Chrome browser.
Any ideas what is going on?

I just reinstalled 27842.
I added a post to the FeedBack Hub.
I tried installing the update from an ISO, keeping my current files and apps. It still failed.
Immediately after booting up with the update, I was once again able to access Facebook. I opened it, closed it, opened it again, closed it and then it wouldn't open again. Something is being loaded after it boots up that is causing this failure. I may try doing a clean install tomorrow.
I did some more troubleshooting today. I found that if I boot into Safe Mode with Networking there are no problems. I tried uninstalling apps that I thought could be a problem - like Acronis and CCleaner and I disabled all startup programs. I disabled the firewalls. I still couldn't access the websites and servers. I have decided I am just going to wait for the next build. I don't want to spend the time to reinstall everything after a clean reinstall.
use the .iso and run setup within Windows and use keep docs, etc
