(KB5044384) for Windows 11 Build 26100.2152 to the Release Preview Channel constantly tries to reinstall and shows error 0x800736b3. How ever it is already successfully installed.

2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044384) for Windows 11 Build 26100.2152 to the Release Preview Channel constantly tries to reinstall and shows error 0x800736b3. How ever it is already successfully installed. Is this an issue with the update?

    same error its funny that microsoft keep ketting worst and worst, only reason to even use windows anymore is gaming

    The only way to fix it is to install Windows cleanly, from scratch. Such errors are not uncommon in Windows previews.

    Same here can't seem to install this update aswell got the following message "Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044384) Install error - 0x800736b3".

    Hi Abhisek Ghatak,

    You can pause updates until the next update and see if that works or use Reset PC keeping your apps and files, back up important files first.
