Unable to update windows [KB5000842]

while updating windows I am getting the following error :

KB which is trying to install :

    This is known bug and Microsoft is working to fix it. See this thread and read EddieL's posting.

    they've had nearly a week, take the apprentice off it and give it to a senior software analyst or have you sacked them all?

    It only effects some computers, finding the problem code in millions of lines of code for those computers takes time, thanks for your patience.

    Not to belabor the point but, why cause a ton of confusion by presenting different dates on different panels for the same OS version?  Either make them the same on both panels or display the date on one panel and not the other.  Why force users to needlessly tear their hair out over nothing?  Very frustrating especially when this Lenovo laptop is only 4 months old.
