I had to do a clean install of windows 11.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The snipping tool will not download from the Microsoft store. It says "to try again later"
Windows 11 Insider Edition 24H2.
I have reset the Microsoft Store cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft store.
rebooted and tried again.
PowerShell (run as Admin) -
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
also tried -
Download the offline App file ( How to Download Offline Installer (APPX/MSIX) for Microsoft Store App | Windows OS Hub ) and then I used PowerShell to install it.
Add-AppxPackage -Path “{path}\Microsoft.ScreenSketch_2022.2305.26.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle.appx”
Is there anything else I might try?

This did not work. To use the Snipping Tool Windows 64-bit, download the file snippingtool_setup_x64.exe and run it as an admin. It redirects me to the Microsoft Store to install/download and gives this error ( see inserted pic). When I do the same offline it goes into waiting mode trying to connect to the Microsoft store.
Hello Groot.
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
Have a try for this offline installer:
Uninstall and reinstall Paint and Snipping Tool - Microsoft Support
You just need to double click to run the installer.
