Windows Input Experience keeps popping up on Windows 11 Insider Program

I recently entered the Windows 11 Insider Program Beta Channel and it installed build 22000.527.

Since then I have had several problems.

The most annoying of which is that every 10 seconds or so a windows called Windows Input Experience will appear for 1 second and then immediately close. It steals the focus from whatever window I'm currently on and it is really bad.

Some other issues that might be related are:

  • Windows Search is not working. Both in the Start Menu and the Search Icon on the taskbar.
  • Shortcuts like Win+V, Win+Period, Win+S, Win+Shift+S, Win+F have completely stopped working.
  • Windows Settings closes on the first time i try to open it.
  • Windows Firewall is disabled and gives me an error when trying to enable it.

What I tried:

Can anyone help me solve this issue?

I don't think that would make a difference as I until recently I already had my display language set to Portuguese. The reason I changed to English was actually to find tech support to this specific problem more easily.

OK, sorry I wasted your time. Recently, some of the symptoms you described were caused by language packs or mismatch language settings, it seemed like a good idea to give it a try. Good luck!

What build were you on prior to joining Beta Insiders?

Is your device Windows 11 compatible?

I don't remember what build I was on but this was my first build after entering the Insiders program.
My PC meets all the Windows 11 requirements.

Just a wild guess, try removing your Local Language Experience Pack (if any), see if that helps.

If it doesn't you can reinstall it, worth a try.

Run this command in PowerShell admin:

    Get-AppxPackage *LanguageExperiencePack* | Remove-AppxPackage
