Hi Microsoft Team,
When I try to print from Edge with a PDF file, then I got the message 'Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x8007007e'. And, I have just gotten this problem, it was works fine before. I can print FINE from other files from other applications. The vision of the Microsoft Edge is up to date(44.18362.449.0)
I tried this method, it won’t work. But, I can’t find “C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3” from my computer, the thing I can find is “printconfig.dll” .
Please any suggestions on how to solve this issue. Thanks

Print spooler might error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print
After installing KB4560960, certain printers may be unable to print. Print spooler may error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print and no output will come from affected printer. You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from. You might receive an error from the app or the app may close unexpectedly. Note This issue might also affect software-based printers, for example printing to PDF.
This issue was resolved in the out-of-band update KB4567512. It is a cumulative update, so you do not need to apply any previous update before installing it. To get the standalone package for KB4567512, search for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog. You can import this update into Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) manually. See the Microsoft Update Catalog for instructions. Note KB4567512 is not available from Windows Update and will not install automatically.
Hi,
The first step would be to try reinstalling the Printer.
Right-click Start and select Run.
\In the Run dialog box, type in control printers and press OK.
Locate your printer in the Printers section, Right click it and select Remove device.
Restart your PC.
If you have a setup media of the Printer driver(This is usually a CD or Setup program supplied with the Printer), run the utility and let the Printer Install.
If you do not have a setup media, try adding a printer manually using "add a printer" button in the menu bar. It should automatically detect and Install the Printer.
After the Printer Installs, try printing a test page to see if it works as desired.
Retry the task again.
Hi Sumit,
I tried your advise and restarted PC. The issue is still there.
