Microsoft, why are you still forcing your Edge on us?

To Microsoft,

You have proved times and times again that you were not capable of making a proper web browser and that most of your "built-in" apps were just here to gather users' data.

People have been very vehement all around the internet about trying to explain to you that 'NO ONE WANTS YOUR BROWSERS', to the point that it's a meme. You have made a meme of yourself.

But you still don't seem to understand it...

So, here for you, a little video explaining CONSENT.

I'm not saying that forcing your software on people is the same as raping them (although I have no idea what you're doing with the data you collect on your users, which leave it up for debate) and I am in no way trying to undermine people who have been victims of abuses.

I am just trying here yo make you understand the concept of consent.

I hope that some day you will finally be able to understand that you should just let people be free of installing it or uninstalling it, instead of making it incredibly hard to remove (and also virtually forcing them to keep it as removing it creates security flaws)

No one is forcing anything on you. You gave Microsoft permission, to Install updates, new features, etc, when, where, and how they deemed best when you agreed to the terms and conditions at the time you installed Windows 10. The vast majority are quite happy with the new Edge If you want to uninstall Edge the best and easiest way I have found is to download and install Revo Uninstaller. It will remove the new Edge and replace it with Legacy. Just find Edge in your list of Apps and pin to the taskbar.you can get it here: https://www.revouninstaller.com/free-uninstall/

I hope this helps and if you need any further assistance please post and we will be glad to assist you.

No one from the Edge Team is going to see your pointless rant.

If you want change to happen, use the feedback option in Edge by pressing Alt-Shift-I. At least the dev team will look at well thought out feedback (not rants).
