Issues with Netflix 4K in Edge

I have recently discovered that I no longer see 4K content on Netflix in Edge. All content is restricted to HD.

I have Edge Version 100.0.1185.39 and HEVC 1.0.50361.0 installed.

When I type in edge://gpu, I found that HDCP 2.2 and HEVC 4K was not enabled. However, the funny thing is that I can see 4K content in the Netflix Windows app but just not in the Edge browser. I think some recent update broke this.

However, Intel Graphics Command Center tells a different story

Same issues, I have everything ok with edge://gpu except that it is showing up FALSE for HDCP2.2 support although NVIDIA control panel showing both graphics card and display being HDCP compliant

Sent a feedback via Microsoft Edge as well, running the following specs:

    • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 under Razer Blade 15" base (2021)
    • Secondary GPU: Intel UHD Graphics
    • External monitor (TV): Samsung Q80T 55"
    • HDMI connections: HDMI certified 2.1 cable connected to both HDMI 2.1 port (Game mode and input signal plus enabled on Samsung)
    • Current display settings (on TV): 120hz, 4k resolution, HDR enabled
    • HEVC: bought and enabled

The only reason why I'm watching Netflix on edge is because it has 1.5x playback speed vs the Samsung TV app (which doesn't)

Seems like we are in a very similar situation. Our Planet plays in 4k on my device but Outlander won't.
