Prevent Microsoft Edge from adding Visual Search to my website

I have an eCommerce website and do not want Microsoft Edge to add a Visual Search button to my images. I think the Visual Search is unreasonable, adding external links to my website and allowing users to click away from my site. The only information on the web is Edge users turning off Visual Search, but nothing the website owner can do to turn off Visual Search. There should be a way to tag my website to prevent Edge from adding Visual Search. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

    I vote for the removal of this feature unless the end-user specifically turn it on. My clients don't appreciate Microsoft letting potential customers search for competitor products directly from our websites. The end-user does not even realize we are not the ones sending them there.

    The question is: is it legal for microsoft to invade our website and introduce a code that takes our clients to the competition without even consulting us? I understand that you want to provide an additional service to search engines, but invading our websites without our consent is abusive.

    Just add CSS:

    img { pointer-events: none; }

    This is what I said, feel free to use it as a template:

    Dear Edge Team,

    With the option of "Visual Search" showing up right over the products on our website, you are unfairly directing visitor and potential customers from our website away to other sites. And this you are doing without any permission from us.

    As a long time Edge user, small business owner and Paying Bing Merchant, I think this is very unfair to our business and that of many others, so I request you to remove this immediately.

    Thank you,

    Miriam Kattumuri

    I agree, I've spent a lot of time stopping bots etc from scanning my site and mirroring the files, I've taken steps to stop console being opened etc to protect my stuff but then edge just has this option that completely bypasses my image protection which is ridiculous and there's nothing I can do about it.
