I am having what I assume is the same problem. Several websites that I was able to access easily just weeks ago are no longer working. I can get to their loading page that asks for ID and Password and fill them out. However once submitted the site will eventually time out and not allow access. These are large sites such as T Mobile and United Health Care. Something happened in Edge that is causing an issue.
I have tried all the basic things such as clearing cache as well as reinstalling / updating Edge to no avail.
Hello Joan ,my name is Luiz Cruz independent consultant and I'm here to help you;
I understand that you are having access denied issues on some sites in Edge;
Are you using any third party antivirus?
Initially I recommend that you try the following;
Make sure Edge is up to date;
Open Edge and go to Settings;
Click on About Microsoft Edge in the menu on the left of the screen;
If there is an update, it will be done;
Clear browsing data;
Open Edge and go to Settings;
Click on Privacy, search and services;
Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
In Time Interval, change to "From start";
Drag the slider to the end and enable all options (Except passwords);
Click Clean Now;
Close the browser and open it again;
Restart Edge and check if the problem still persists;
Hope this helps, see you soon!
