Jan 2024 Windows 10 HOME 22H2 Edge browser HIGH Memory Usage

I have enjoyed EDGE, especially when closing the browser, especially the removal of what I choose to delete in Settings.

Since Dec 2023 and January Updates, my Windows 10 Home 22H2 (x64) COOLING FAN stays on MAX when watching any video, news, football, or zooming on maps and Google Earth etc.

I am also getting 'pop up' Warnings of "High Memory Usage." Are there more updates coming with 'fixes' for the 'growing EDGE' and all its new features?

I'm having a similar problem, especially for the last 1-3 versions, performance has been deteriorating. I did a full browser reset and used the same extensions and exports to compare with Chrome. Chrome runs extremely smooth and fast.

Edge, on the other hand, is clunky and consumes a lot of resources. I turned off unnecessary features AI etc. and tested it, unfortunately nothing changed. Edge needs a good bug fixing, performance improvement, streamlining and acceleration for 3-5 releases.
