I've completed the boxes and obtain the points however, I cannot get the points for searching to an updated currency converter, is anyone else having the same issues, or what have you entered to resolve this issue.

Yes, I was having the same issue. After revisiting the task a while later, the task is locked with "Available on Sunday", so I assume it was wrongly showing as unlocked and thus could not be completed.
Apparently, they changed the software a couple of weeks ago to prevent point accumulations for more than 3 searches at a time within a 15-minute period to bar users who are just searching to accumulate points rather than performing actual real searches for information. Yes. For every device and across devices. The searches use to be fun. Now they are not.
Yes. I am having issues with the search counter incrementing points the past few days, and the search point counter seems to stop accruing points after I search a few times.

It's definitely a task for today as the bing app on my phone says 170/180.
No matter what I do it just doesn't register as complete.

I would also suggest to monitor it for a bit more of time as there might be an issue on the system or server that is interfering with this one but if it will still be the same later today or tomorrow then you can head over to the link below to check it directly with the MS Rewards Support as they have information and access to provide on what transpired on the issue that you have encountered.
