    Dear Sarah,

Hello! Welcome to the Microsoft Community. I'm glad to be able to assist you. If I misunderstand your question, please let me know promptly.

You seem to have a page error problem after opening Edge, and the error code is "RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE". I understand the trouble this problem has caused you, and I will try my best to help you solve this problem.

    1. Disable extensions

It may be that an extension caused the conflict. In Edge, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner, select "Extensions", and then disable all extensions. If the problem is solved, enable extensions one by one to confirm which one caused the problem.

    1. Reset Microsoft Edge

Open the Edge browser, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner > "Settings" > "Reset Settings".

Select "Restore settings to their defaults", which will delete all settings and restore them to the default state.

    1. Manually delete Edge's data files

I know you have tried clearing browser data, please try to manually delete the data folder to see if it helps

Right-click the Start menu, open "Run", and paste

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft

Click "OK" and a folder will open. Delete the "Edge" folder in it.

I am in the same position. This is making Microsoft Edge utterly useless.

Try to install an older Edge version, it might work.
