AES 256 bit encrypted pdf file open error(PdfDocument API)

HI,
I am making a pdf viewer in a part of my program.
I'm trying to open PDF file by using PdfDocument API
It works fine in AES128 encrypt files or non-encrypted files,
but it fails to open AES256 bit password-encrypted file.

I have tried to open the aes256 pdf in edge and chrome browser,
edge failed, but chrome had no problem.

I think it is a problem of MS PdfDocument API.

Is there someone who had same problem or
someone who has solution?

need help.

thanks.

Hi, After confirmation, PdfDocument does not currently support AES-256 encrypted Pdf documents. You can try to make a Feature Request in the Feedback Hub, it can help your problem get more attention

Hi there.

I'm also having the same problem. But in my case, both 256 or 128-bit encryption pdf crashes on Edge.

Here you can see that the problem doesn't occur on Chrome.
