Microsoft Edge Secure Network unavailable, claims my pc is managed

Issue:

Microsoft Edge Secure Network is unavailable and says "This setting is turned off for managed browsers."

My laptop is a personal laptop, and I don't have a work profile associated with anything on my computer.

From my research online, it looks like this happens when there's a policy being reinforced on the computer.

My laptop is not managed or have any policies applied to it that I am aware of or can confirm.

What I've checked:

I disabled all extensions just in case, but no change.

edge://policy - shows No Policies Set, Status says Version 1.3.177.11, 5 hours ago.

edge://management - shows "Microsoft Edge is not managed by a company or organization"

Registry - NO "Edge" key under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft

GPResult - No policies applied

Everything points to Edge not being managed and yet it's telling me the setting is turned off for managed browsers.

System info:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Home
System Model Alienware m17 R4
System Type x64-based PC
Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
Edge version Version 118.0.2088.57 (Official build) (64-bit)

Apparently, the website is having issues uploading the screenshots :/

I will try to upload the screenshots after posting, they just corroborate the information above.

Edit for screenshots:

    Any other ideas?

I've tried researching it and I can't find anything we haven't tried already.

Is there a way to see why it thinks it's managed?

Ok, could you first try to repair the app and see if this makes any difference to the situation:

I do not use any third-party services for any of that.

Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Do you have any third party internet security, antivirus, or VPN software installed? Often these can disable features, in order that their own product functions correctly.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
