    Hello Scott,

Thank you for interacting with us by posting your issue on this forum.

It looks like you're noticing some UI inconsistencies in Microsoft Edge on your iPad after a recent update. The gap between the tabs and the address bar, along with the uneven spacing, might be caused by changes in Edge's design or an unexpected bug. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Make sure you're running the latest version of Edge by going to the App Store and checking for updates.
    2. Restart the App: Close Microsoft Edge completely and reopen it to see if the issue persists.
    3. Clear Cache and Data: Go to Edge settings and clear browsing data, which might help refresh the UI.
    4. Try a Different Layout: Edge offers different appearance settings. Check if switching to a different UI layout (such as enabling/disabling vertical tabs) helps.
    5. Reinstall Edge: If the issue continues, uninstalling and reinstalling the app may correct any UI glitches.

If the issue persists after trying all these steps, it might be possible that the Edge design has changed for iOS, and the appearance may vary depending on device compatibility.

Hope following these steps should help you to resolve your issue. Wishing you a great day ahead!

    Best Regards,

It does seem to be just a terrible UI change. Can't unsee it. :(

    Switched to Brave.

The latest update has fixed both the gap between the tabs and the badly centered address bar. I am convinced this was a UI bug and could not have been intentional. The Edge team seems to need better UI quality control.
