Side by Side problem, missing Microsoft.VC90.MFC

Running an upgraded Vista x64 to Windows7 x64. Not having any problems with Windows 7 except when I downloaded QuickGamma3 and tried running it. I got the "side by side" error.

RegEdit didn't work. I dl'd it, ran it, it detected and corrected only 14 items and it appears that you have to buy RegEdit to get the whole job done (about 300+ items were detected.)

Got to the event log. Botom line appears to be that Microsoft.VC90.MFC, processorArchitecture=x86,publickeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found.

I already have the following in my computer:

Microsoft Visual C ++ 2005 ATL update kb973923-x86 8.0.50727.4053

Microsoft Visual C ++ 2005 ATL update kb973923-x64 8.0.50727.4053

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable-x64 9.0.30729.17

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable ATL Update-x64 kb9.0.30729.17

And have added:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

I again dl'd QG3 and ran it, but when opening QG3, I got the following Application error: "Ordinal 7138 couldn't be located in the DLL mfc90u.dll"

Because of the noted above problem with QG3, I dl'd/installed QG2 again...and it worked. But, of course, I'd still like to get QG3 on board. So what's with this missing dll problem?

    It would be better to download the official binaries for Visual C++ 2008

    You must install the RTM Version (9.0.21022.8) of Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86:
