Hi.
If an application hangs after opening or opening a file takes very long time and i want to analyze the reasons - is there a good tool next to the process monitor?

Process monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity.
If you don't want to use it, you can use task manager, resource monitor, performance monitor and event viewer to analyze.

Third-party tools are not recommended because they might couldn't show how the system works exactly. But you can choose your preferred tool, Five process monitors that go beyond Task Manager.
