    Hi,

This is repairable though you may need technical help.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This is serious error and "may" not be repairable without professional tech support from

a real computer shop (not leeks and peeks at a BestBuy or other BigBox Stores) or your

    System maker's Support.

Here are the troubleshooting methods to try to fix the issue : (The fix for corrupt is basically the same

as for the boot manager is missing.)

Try Startup Repair - (If at ANY point you gain some but not full access to Windows come

back and try Startup Repair again.)

    This is RAM problem

Remove RAM. Make sure dust free. Use vacuum with no nylon attachments (protect from ESD) put 1 ram stick back in. Boot. If messages there , remove that ram put the other in. Try different slots.

If you only have one. try different slot a few times. If keeps on doing it try another RAM module.

I got the error lately with my laptop all of a sudden, and I have tried everything I could.... but nothing did really work. :( BUT there is a good news!!! Here I found a website that has a solution for my bootmgr image error.

    http://www.pntbrother.com/bootmgr-image-is-corrupted-windows-8-10-7/

I cleaned my computer memory and it really worked. There is a detailed instruction on the website if you do not know how to clean. :D

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Though this can certainly be a software issue some instances will be hardware

related. Memory is not the only hardware possibility as the hard drive, the cabling,

    or motherboard issues are others.

Anyone with the issue should try the software fixes and if those do not help than

exploring the hardware related causes would be needed.

All should remember to remover ALL power before checking hardware (and be

    careful).

You may need to check with the System/Motherboard Maker or a real computer

shop (one that does its own in-shop service).

    Hope this helps.

That is exactly what was wrong with mine. Unfortunately I took my computer in to have it serviced. He only charged me $11 fix it.
