Change the colors on your computer

You can change the color of your window frames, the Start menu, and the taskbar.

    Forget about it.

There is no Windows built-in option to turn your TASKBAR into OLIVE GREEN.

Taskbar will always remain black to semi-transparent black.

Anyone who wants to say the contrary will have to prove it by way of a screenshot. And it must not be by way of a 3rd party program.

I'm not sure  how to post a screenshot (if you explain the process, I'll give it a try), but I copied the scrrenshot to SkyDrive:http://cid-6c3db03ffff7e19f.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/green%20taskbar.jpg.  I don't know if it's Oliven Green, but it's some type of green and obviously not black.  And it was done using the instructions from the article I posted above (though it did take a while to figure out how to configure it properly to show the color change

    • it was not obvious.  I needed to remove transparency and change the intensity to full and select the hue that seemed closest to Olive Green - instructions not clearly documented in the article).

I admit it is not black, for sure. Whether it is Olive green or not, is anyone's colour perception.

I'd call it clsoe enough. I stand corrected. My Home Premium cannot produce this colour.
