How do I remove the remote desktop connection program?  I don't want to install a new version.  I just want to remove the program completely so I that can't remote access another compute and no one can remote access mine computer for security reasons.

Thank you

To prevent Remote Desktop access to your computer (Windows Vista Business or Ultimate):

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Right-click Computer .
    3. Click Properties .
    4. Click Remote settings .
    5. Click Don't allow connections to this computer .
    6. Click OK .

I don't know of a way to un-install the Remote Desktop Connection program.  To manually delete the file that runs it:

    1. Press WindowsKey+R .
    2. Type %systemroot%\system32 in the box, and click OK .
    3. Delete the file named mstsc.exe .
