BURNED DVD-R AND DVD+R PLAYBACK ON DVD PROBLEM

Question

I CANNOT PLAYBACK ANY  DVD-R'S OR DVD+R'S WHICH I CREATED ON MY PC IN MY DVD PLAYERS.  THEY ONLY PLAYBACK ON MY PC.  I GET THE MESSAGE FROM MY DVD PLAYERS "DISC ERROR PLAYBACK FEATURE MAY NOT BE AVAILABE ON THIS DISC"  WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.  HELP
