Error 0x800704cf the network location cannot be reached

This is driving me crazy.  I have a Vaio laptop with Windows 7.  I can see other PCs on my home network in the Network area.  If I click on any computer, I get the above message.  When I click on my own computer in the network area, it shows "users" "Public" and :videos" folders.  If I click on any of them, I get the above message.

    Did you find a solution for this problem?

    In my case of facing network connection **error code: 0x800704cf (The network location cannot be reached)**was resolved just after check the "Client for Microsoft Networks" in Network Adapter -> LAN properties -> Networking tab.

    I reinstalled everything and nothing help. Are there any other ideas how to fix this bug?
