hello, i need help with finding a windows vista simulation OR any simulation windows related. It needs to have interactive C drive and interactive Command prompt at least.  I'd rather not have any kind of download but if I have to download I will. I need this because i don't want to mess up my drives or anything like that using the command prompt and that. Well not me but my friend. The other problem for him is hes not an administrator on any computer and has lack in C drive properties and other drive  properties, he cant defragment the computer. He cant even run a simple task on cmd like chkdsk or chkdsk/f

Please help me find a simulator!! I need to desperately so I can continue his training in computers!

Jshurley8,

We do not support any non Microsoft products.  If you are looking for an online simulator for Vista just use your favorite search engine and search for "Vista emulator" and you will find several.  However, we can not vouch for the accuracy or stability of any third party software.

Thanks,

Hello Jshurley8,

Thank you for using Microsoft Answers forum.  The closest thing to Vista simulator that I can think of is Virtual PC.  With you not having Administrator rights on the machine you probably will not be able to install it.  You will need the Vista Media and product key also.
