Sometimes when I turn on the computer after it has been unable to come out of hibernation a black screen is displayed stating that:
Windows Boot Manager
Your computer can't come out of hibernation.
Status: 0xc0000411
Info: A fatal error occured processing the restoration data.
File: \hiberfil.sys
Any information that was not saved before the computer went into hibernatioin will be lost.
The above is the error i receive
And it causes a problem with my NVidia 8600 GT video card, and my PCI-E port.
The video card is not detected by my pc, and there is no vga display on my monitor when i plug it into the vga port on the
graphic card. The device manager isn't not detecting it, It only reads the on board display device. I have attempted everything in terms of reseting the bios, disabling the on bord display, and even tried to re-install Vista twice in hopes to reset the bios
and drivers. Its not a driver issue. Its not a bio setting. Its a problem caused by the error 0xc0000411. I know this because after 2 weeks of trouble shooting i allowed my computer to hibernate, reciving the same error and PRESTO! my PCI-E port, and graphic
card was detectable again! I thought the problem solved, until i restarted and it was no longer readable or detectable by windows again.....
In summery the only time the PCI-E slot, and graphic card is readable/detectable is after the error code mentioned. Something
in it is breaks my computers ability to read/detect the PCI-E slot and graphic card. please help!!!
