Update 20H2

Question

Just tried to update Windows 10 on my Toshiba Satellite S70-A with your update 20H2. Went all the way through to needs restart. Computer been trying to restart for 10 hours and no joy. It flashes Toshiba then screen goes dark and then tries again. I can get to the Toshiba setup utility using F2 but can’t t get to windows or windows safe mode. Can also get to boot menu by using F12.

Hi,
The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.
Please download Media Creation Tool from the link below and select Upgrade this PC at the first screen:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

This will save your files and apps while bringing you up to the latest version by the most stable method. It will also bring all of your Updates current and solve most problems since it reinstalls Windows.

When this happens, the issue is likely the graphics driver, or it could mean that a previous update didn't apply correctly. You may go through thr following ref:

Follow the steps described there to create installation media (USB flash drive or DVD) you can use to install a new copy of Windows 10, perform a clean installation, or reinstall Windows 10.
