    Hi,

    Step 1:

If you receive warnings that your virtual memory is low, you'll need to increase the minimum size of your paging file. Windows sets the initial minimum size of the paging file at the amount of random access memory (RAM) installed on your computer plus 300 megabytes (MB), and the maximum size at 3 times the amount of RAM installed on your computer. If you see warnings at these recommended levels, then increase the minimum and maximum sizes.

    1.      Open System by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.

    2.      In the left pane, click Advanced system settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3.      On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.

    4.      Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.

    5.      Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.

    6.      Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.

    7.      Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click OK.

Increases in size usually don't require a restart, but if you decrease the size, you'll need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. We recommend that you don't disable or delete the paging file.

    Step 2:

Run a Virus scan using online live one care utility.

Follow the steps mentioned in the link below as well

In addition, you can also perform disk clean up and disk defragmenter as a workaround. Here are the links.

Do you use SCCM to deploy windows updates by chance? This can happen when a deployment package exceeds 4 GB's in size, which can happen if your deployment includes too many files. We had a microsoft rep tell us to break up our updates into smaller deployments.

    Hi,

I found a fix to this problem.

    Go into system properties,

    Under advanced tab select performance,

    Under settings choose advanced tab,

    select virtual memory,

then on C: make sure system managed size is selected,

Reboot and hopefully you will now have a stable system.

Bare in mind if you running ssd software and you choose any global optimized setting it will reset these settings back to default. So you will have to repeat the steps again.

Still odd bug which I never came across on previous versions of windows.

    Hi,

When is Microsoft going to fix this virtual memory problem. I have had it since I first installed windows 10 back on release day. I have it set to Virtual memory size set to auto and that didn't fix it.

I am all update to date, no spyware or virus are found. Always happens when I am using basic internet explorer. It has become really annoying now. I even done a fresh install and that did nothing.

I had windows 8.1 installed and worked fine until I installed this abomination. Granted when it works its bloody good but this problem is really bugging the **** out of me.

    Error log

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: iexplore.exe (32) consumed 1138192384 bytes, LolClient.exe (6608) consumed 664383488 bytes, and iexplore.exe (6896) consumed 551145472 bytes.
