How do I Change the language in Microsoft Flight Simulator X? (FSX)

My friend went to Germany and bought Flight Simulator X, and kindly let me install it on my PC. But as it turned out the game was in German, and i do not know how to change the language to English. PLEASE HELP.

Hi Hamdhan,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers!

As the game CD might be in the German Language or version, you cannot change the language of the game to English.

You need to but the game CD/DVD in the English Version to be able to use it with English language.

    microsoft please make a patch for the language and start giving language options too.

    I dont get it. why it is that all other games and simulators or whatever have the option to choose languages. 

    I just honestly don't see what the problem might be if microsoft just simply adds that option......or at least puts up a patch to change languages. We spend our money in your products and then there's no complete service.

    I hope you take this comment in consideration. Microsoft should really do something about it.

    Hello,

    I bought the Filight Simulator X Professional Edition for my old school (located in Romania), on Amazon.

    They just installed it yesterday but unfortunately it is in German as I made the order in Germany.

    However, they need an English version.

    Please tell me which kind of sw update I need to buy.

    They could return the product to Amazon but I don't want to take this option as the sending costs back and forth from Romania would be equal to the ones of the game itself.

    A few words about my school: they won an award about with an aviation project and they won a moulti touch lab for the school,

    I live in germany for bussiness issue and does not know german and could not find english version
