Hi
I installed office 365 Personal.

When I open Outlook I get a notification 60912-image.png

If i go to the "file" menu as suggested in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/make-outlook-the-default-program-for-email-contacts-and-calendar-ff7990c4-54c4-4390-8fe3-c0285226f021

Outlook just closes

I went to windows 10 settings App Defaults and set Mail to Outlook still get the same response

Outlook loads but each time I try to read an email i get a "windows intaller" window that flashes a few seconds then email is viewed??

Looking forward to a swift response

Regards

Meir

    Hi @Meir Rotfleisch ,

    Welcome!

What's the specific version of your Office? Office 2019, Office 365 or you have both versions on your device? And what is the bit version of your Office installation? 32 bit or 64 bit?

According to your description, sounds like there might be something wrong with your Office installation and causes those issues when using Outlook desktop client. In order to conduct further researches on your issue, please try to completely uninstall your Office and then re-install the Office version you would like to check if this issue could be resolved.

By the way, if you are using Outlook along with 3rd party programs, I would more suggested to install 32 bit version of Office, it could have a better compatibility with other 3rd party programs, just as this article mentioned. Hope this could help.
