Original Title: Hotfix request not working

I have a notebook that is having the issues described in the following KB article:

For some reason when I click to request a hotfix it simply states:

"The system is currently unavailable. Please try back later, or contact support if you want immediate assistance.http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support"

I have tried other browsers and other machines on different networks to make sure it wasn't something resolveable on my end. Is the hotfix request system not working at this time? If so is there an alternate way to obtain/request this hotfix. I have been trying for several days now, and all attempts yield the same results.

    Well I have looked around, and there doesn't seem to be an official fix that works for everybody. Was trying to avoid System Restore, but seems like that is going to be the most reliable option.
