I upgraded to IE 9 but need version 8 for a website that I use for school. Is it possible to have two different versions downloaded onto Windows Vista? Like having Mozilla and Internet Explorer or will IE 9 be replaced if I download IE 8?

You don't download IE8 to replace IE9. Use the procedure here to go back to IE8:

There are some hacks around to run multiple versions of IE, like this: http://utilu.com/IECollection/
But it doesn't have IE9 in yet.
