    I did this and it created a new account on my computer that I cannot delete and the update did not work for this account either

    Vous pourriez avoir besoin d'activer le compte administrateur intégré

    cmd ouverte (en tant qu'administrateur) et le type

    net user  administrateur / active: yes

    Alors connecte avec le nouvel utilisateur et essayez de nouveau pour vérifier les mises à jour

    Compte administrateur activé et toujours le meme code erreur

    You might need to enable the built-in Administrator account

    open cmd (as Administrator) and type

    net user administrator /active:yes

    Then login with the new user and try again to Check for updates

    Note: You might also need to change all your Language settings to US.

    I have Windows 7 and the link did not help me. I have not been able to downloads since July 2014.
