Using Visual Studio C Sharp To Create A Bitmap Schematic Editor

To Anyone,

 I would like to build a schematic capture program with Visual Studio C Sharp.

 I have tried to look on the internet for help, but am unsure of what I need to

ask. The questions I did pose brought me no where.

 Is there anyone out there that would be able to help and or advise me on

how this can be done, via video, books or seminars.

 I am at my wits end and need help.

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

I really appreciate it.

Let me explain to you my wish.

And I tried to upload a visual .png file but was unsuccessful.

I have created a C Sharp form that has a number of pull menu items

Each menu item should represent a graphical symbol that can be
placed on the form.

The graphical symbol can consist of symbols that can represent
a computer, a laptop, a storage device, a printer, etc.

If you are familiar with Microsoft Visio, then you might know
what I am talking about.

I would like to allow the user to display a grid so that the items
placed on the page can be assembled along a grid.

This is the beginning of what I wish to do. Eventually, there will
be lines connecting these devices or symbols, representing a
virtual network.

Any help you can give me, to guide me or help me in this
process would be greatly appreciated.

 I did look at your recommendation, however, that is not

exactly what I am looking to do.
