Windows 7 won't synchronize with time.windows.com

Question

no matter what I do I can't reset the time on my system. i run 64 bit windows. i go to time management and try adjusting time zone, adjusting the time manually, setting it to synchronize with time.windows.com, anything i can think of. updates haven't fixed this, i'm at a loss for what else i can do. any ideas on what i can do to update this?

You can try the following methods

Method 1:

Put the computer in ‘Clean boot’ and check the status.

Note: When the troubleshooting is over do not forget to reset the computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the article above.

Method 2:

Try with a different time server

a)    Click on the ‘Start’ button and type ‘Date and Time’ in the search text box and select it.

b)    Select the ‘Internet’ tab and click on ‘Change settings’

c)    Select a different server and click on ‘Update now’ and ‘Ok’ and check if it synchronizes

Method 3:

Type the commands below in ‘cmd’ prompt

Click on the ‘Start’ button and type ‘cmd’ and right-click on cmd and select ‘Run as administrator’

1. Type "w32tm /debug /disable"(without quotes) and press 'Enter'.
2. Type "w32tm /register"(without quotes) and press 'Enter'

You should get the response "W32Time successfully registered"

3. Type "net start w32time"(without quotes) and press 'Enter'

Every morning the time and date suddenly are no longer correct. I change the time and date and am alerted that it automatically synchronized and even during the day the data changes. What ids the fix?

I synchronized with all the clocks available. All the while, I am watching the UTC time ticking away on the googlez. Still, none of the synchronizations work. I am always off by a few minutes. How could something so fundamental be lacking, Microsoft? We future Mac users would really like to know.
